*NERDY MAMA!
Hey hey.
My parents are Hoochie Mama and Nerdy Papa, hence my name is Nerdy Mama.
I wear a pair of thick-framed black glasses, which people complain are so nineteen-fifty. And I'm seen with a book wherever I go.
I'm a science geek who wants to get into triple science class. My friends mock me for that, but of course the typical me don't give a damn.

How should I spend my last day of year 2008? Today is Monday, and I was home for the whole (Freaking) day. I was so bored till the extend that I started talking rubbish to myself. Yes.. I found it weird too.. But I did manage to accomplish one thing, which was one of my GP homework 'Vocab book F'. Yea balls! Now I still have 10 more articles to write, a 500 word book review, 5 essay outlines and 2 comprehensions to complete before holiday ends.Awesome.
Anyway, as I said I was home for the entire day, and this question popped into my mind "How should I spend my last day of 2008?". It got me thinking then.. It is the last day of the year! I must have something planned out to celebrate this wonderful and satiable year of 2008!
Then I remembered that Dawn invited me to go party with her, Xiao Teng & Teng's friends which she said she'll get back to me about the time and location. But there is a problem. I have only met Xiao Teng's friends once! I am not close to them and I'll probably feel gouche. So I started asking myself this.. shouldn't this day be spent with friends whom I Love and are ever so close to? They were the ones who had always been there when I was bovine and unhappy or facing adversity. Now I understand what is meant by "Friend define who you are.." (By the way i'm trying to imply that Xiao Teng and Dawn are not my close friends..they are really close to me too. hahaha )
The answer is palpable. Well, I shall see if everyone in the brother/sisterhood is free ; ) If not partying with Dawn and Teng will be my alternative.
But I haven't answer my question yet.. how will I spend my last day of year?
The answer is yet to be known.
All I hope for is that it will turn out to be an enjoyable and memorable day :)
It's time to start planning something!

A few more days before 2009!!!!

A few more days before 2009 comes!!!!
A long time ago, Heraclitus remarked that "the only constant is change", and that sentiment still resonates today in our ever changing global economy.
As times evolve, so must we.
If we perceive new challenge as an opportunity, and find adversity, sources of motivation, we will be better equipped to succeed in uncertain times.
New circumstances demand fresh perspectives.
So as 2008 draws to an end, I hope you all had a wonderful and exciting year! Now we must gather together to celebrate the advent of the year 2009! May year 2009 be the best year ever!
Happy New Year my beloved friends : ))) 2009 will be a BLAST!

A weird day i had.

Was there a time when you felt that everything went smoothly and yet later on you found out that it didn't?
Okay, this happened to me last week and it felt totally weird and this 'not right feeling'..
So it goes like this.. There was a meeting with "Sisterhood" at New York New York at City Hall at 6.30 for Raymond's farewell to army. I told Jon that I will be quite late reaching at about 7.30 because I had training before that..
So I left home for training at 4..putted till abt 5.30..went range to hit 80 balls till abt 6.20.. then went to shower and left Seletar Country Club at around 6.40.
My dad drove me to Yio Chu Kang MRT station and the train ride took me around 25 mins or so to reach City Hall. I rushed to NYNY, panting as I reached the restuarant.
I sat down beside Jon, Jon said to me"Wahh! Not bad ar, someone is on time!"
I replied him"Huh? Isn't it 7.30 now???"
I immediately took out my phone and saw the time. I went berserk. It was 6.30.
I have no explanation for it. It felt totally wrong from that point onwards, as if time was so slow and I was moving too fast for it..
But I did enjoy my night with them. It was a night to remember. The dinner was sumptious. We wrote our wishes on the huge inflated ball : D and lastly star gazing!
Though we didn't manage to go drink : ( haha
It was a night I remembered who I really am.
In Darkness He is the LIGHT, In difficulties He is the JOY and in all times He is the LOVE. Halleluiah!
