Time changes everything, even you and I have changed

*NERDY MAMA!
Hey hey. My parents are Hoochie Mama and Nerdy Papa, hence my name is Nerdy Mama.
I wear a pair of thick-framed black glasses, which people complain are so nineteen-fifty. And I'm seen with a book wherever I go. I'm a science geek who wants to get into triple science class. My friends mock me for that, but of course the typical me don't give a damn.

I was either too tired or busy to blog for the last few weeks. Basically, we are done with all the high key events, now it's just training for the next IPPT, P226 pistol shoot and gas chamber. 3 more weeks to POP Loh, yet again. hahaha. It has been awesome till now, great section filled with good friends and a gracious God whom has bless me incredibly.

I was one of the fortunate few to be selected for course IC for the whole of last week. It was uncalled for and I was quite reluctant because I felt that I wasn't up to it. But truly it was God's calling which He had foretold me before hand. I trusted God and gave my best to led the 118 soldiers and it wasn't that bad after all though it can be stressful at times.

Indubitably, I grew much from this experience. I have learn't to manage a large group of people efficiently and learn't to speak confidently in front of a large crowd. Invaluable experience indeed.

I've got this subtle feeling from God that He wants me to be platoon best or something, which I really hope I would attain, but I ain't gonna let this get over my head and just let Him guide me.

It's a 3 days weekend! Gonna enjoy it and spend more time with my family : )

'It's so hard to always be in that position..in that state..never knew this commitment would be so hard. But I'll hang in there just for You my Lord.'

This week sucked. I almost blacked out on Monday after my 4 km route march. On Thursday, I could had gotten heat exhaustion if I didn't fall out. But it was all worth it going through it together with my section : ) Platoon best? Hmm, I'll try for it.

SMU letter came on this week. It wasn't successful, but it's all good, not affected by it at all. There is still NUS and NTU!
